ALT Joinery was founded out of a deep passion for craftsmanship and a lifelong dedication to woodworking. From a young age, I was drawn to the art of joinery, fascinated by the precision, creativity, and skill required to transform raw materials into something both functional and beautiful. Over the years, this passion only grew, leading me to hone my craft and eventually establish ALT Joinery—a business built on quality, integrity, and attention to detail.

With over 30 years in the industry, I have worked on a wide range of projects, from bespoke furniture and intricate woodwork to large-scale commercial joinery. My expertise spans everything from traditional craftsmanship to modern, innovative designs. Every project I take on is approached with the same level of care and precision, ensuring that each piece is not only visually stunning but also built to stand the test of time.

At ALT Joinery, my mission is simple: to create high-quality, bespoke joinery that exceeds expectations. I believe that great craftsmanship is about more than just skill—it’s about understanding my clients’ vision, working closely with them throughout the process, and delivering exceptional results. What I love most about my work is the ability to bring a client’s ideas to life. Whether it’s crafting a one-of-a-kind furniture piece or transforming a space with custom joinery, seeing the finished product and a satisfied customer is the most rewarding part of my job. One of my favourite projects involved restoring a historic staircase—bringing it back to life while preserving its original character was a truly special experience.
